Air Europa to lease three 787-9s from BOC Aviation

Singapore-based lessor BOC Aviation has agreed to purchase three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners from Boeing. The agreement will take the number of 787-9s in BOC’s portfolio—either in service or on order—to 14.


Lessor DAE to sell 16 aircraft valued at $900 million

Aircraft lessor Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Capital has signed agreements to sell 16 aircraft, valued at approximately $900 million.

Maintenance events on SSJs dent Brussels Airlines’ schedules

A series of maintenance situations with Sukhoi Superjets (SSJs) operated by an ACMI supplier to Brussels Airlines produced a rash of cancellations in the latter half of May, but the operator of the grounded aircraft has denied media reports they were caused by a shortage of spare parts.
