Exclusive: Conflicts, weak brand drive KPMG-ZICO Law merger to end

The much-touted merger between KPMG and the ZICO Law network has largely collapsed, around two-and-a-half years after the Big Four consulting firm expanded its legal arm across Southeast Asia.
The alliance, which aimed to create a behemoth legal services provider with nearly 3,200 lawyers across 84 jurisdictions, has dissolved in key markets including Malaysia and Indonesia.
