COVID-19 & THE CHURCH'S RESPONSE
"It will take a lot of stamina, a lot of mental health strength ... to see your congregation through."
- Dr. Eleanor "Ellie" Bergquist

The Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes, one of Alban's partner organizations, hosted a webinar on March 18 about what the church should know in response to COVID-19 and how churches are already responding. Panelists include Dr. Eleanor "Ellie" Bergquist, adjunct professor of public health at Washington University in St. Louis; Rev. Doyt Conn, rector of Epiphany Episcopal Church in Seattle; Rev. Dr. Russell Levenson, rector of St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston; and Rev. Dr. Noelle York-Simmons, rector of Historic Christ Church in Alexandria. Rev. Matt Heyd of The Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York moderated the conversation.
