Alex Salmond whistleblower claims revealed by MP

David Davis has used parliamentary privilege to reveal SNP messages he says were given to him by a whistleblower. 

According to the Conservative MP, they show a "concerted effort by senior members of the SNP to encourage complaints" against Alex Salmond.

Mr Davis directly quoted from his source, saying the evidence provided: "point to collusion, perjury, up to criminal conspiracy".

'Literally no patients' at vaccination centres

Some Covid-19 vaccination centres in the Lothians have seen no patients at all over the last few days, the First Minister has confirmed.

It comes after a 'major problem' with the issuing of appointment letters.

Nicola Sturgeon said she was aware of the issue and the Scottish Government is investigating.
