Physician Alignment Shows Signs of Success Nationwide


In the post-ACA era, aligning physicians with organizational goals appears to be gaining traction in health systems and hospitals nationwide. In a recent survey of the HealthLeaders Media Council, a surprising number indicated they had achieved major to moderate success in alignment. However, despite the success indicated by survey respondents, organizations continue to struggle with achieving alignment and engagement from physician leaders.

Though health systems might define alignment success differently, there was consensus about the top obstacles and how to approach the future of this important strategy within organizations.
