About that fire at Beyoncé's mansion. And a dilemma for Saints fans?

Torching a mansion: A fire at a Garden District mansion last summer was notable for a couple of reasons. Because it's, well, an old mansion with a storied history. And it belonged to Beyoncé. Yeah, that Beyoncé. Anyway, Ramon Vargas tracked down some records and offers the most detailed story yet about what happened last July.


Nefertari's treasures: The New Orleans Museum of Art is again showcasing the art and extravagances of Egyptian royalty. And while Queen Nefertari might not pack quite the celebrity power of King Tut, who generated large crowds for the museum in 1977, NOMA officials think “Queen Nefertari’s Egypt” will nonetheless be quite the draw over the coming months.


Another Saints QB debate: So where do you stand on the Saints’ fervent courtship of Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson? Columnist Rod Walker said Watson would make the Saints a contender from Day 1 -- but would also be arriving with a long list of legal problems that some fans might find a challenge.
