GOVERNOR: Jeff Landry is projected to be the outright winner in the Louisiana governor's race. Democrat Sean Wilson was the runner up. JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL: Jefferson Parish voters on Saturday selected Scott Walker and Jennifer Van Vrancken to serve as the Parish Council's two at-large members, handing the Metairie Republicans hard-fought victories against two veteran politicians and setting the stage for a council dominated by east bank voices. TAMMANY PRESIDENT: Surviving a contentious campaign in which he was painted as combative and difficult to work with, St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper narrowly topped Slidell Mayor Greg Cromer Saturday to win a second term in office.
