Kos has many interesting places to visit. To begin with, it is the birth-place of Hippocrates, the father of medicine. In the town of Kos, visitors can see the famous plane-tree of Hippocrates, the Archaeological Museum 23km, the Ancient Agora 22km, the Ancient Odeon 21km, the Greek and Roman Baths, the Temple of Dionyssos, Casa Romana 24km and the impressive Roman Castle of the Knights that overlooks the harbour of the island.

Just 4km away from Kos town is Asklepieion, a place of unparalleled natural beauty and great historical significance. Asklepieion used to be the greatest health institution in Ancient Greece, dedicated to Asklepios, the god of medicine. The view of the Aegean Sea from Asklepieion is stunning.

Aside from all the history, Kos also bears all the hallmarks of a Greek island holiday - fabulous sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, plenty of sunshine and fantastic, healthy cuisine.
