Things look a little different in broadcast these days. My colleagues are reporting from their homes, closets and basements have become makeshift studios, and many record news segments and answer emails while caring for kids and pets. While here at the office, we are taking every precaution to keep each other safe while bringing you the radio you rely on.
One thing that remains constant is the fact that we’re all in this together. MPR Listeners, hosts and staff are as important to each other as ever. Minnesota Public Radio is public radio. Public means more of us. Public means all of us. We are independent, funded by the people and powered by our listeners.
Individual donors have always been our most important and dependable source of support, and that is why MPR is fundamentally strong. But we are facing our greatest financial challenge to date. Your donation makes a difference, regardless of the amount, in our ability to provide essential public services to you and to all Minnesotans.
You and more than a million Minnesotans look to MPR for trusted information and inspiration. You rely on our fact-based journalism, music, and cultural services to for context and to provide a calm and joyful relief from the whirlwind of news around us.
Find the amount that’s right for you and give generously. Your support makes an impact on the radio station that’s funded by the people and never for profit.
P.S. One way to have an even greater impact is to share why MPR is important to you with your own network. Tell a friend why you support MPR and encourage them to do the same.
