Almost 2,000 new cases linked to Euros matches

A new report has linked almost 2,000 positive Covid cases in Scotland to Euro 2020 match attendance.

The majority of these cases were connected to travelling to the England-Scotland match in London.

Nine of every 10 cases was male, the Public Health Scotland report found.

Record number of positive cases in Scotland

It comes as, for the second day in the row, Scotland has recorded the highest number of new Covid cases since the start of the pandemic.
