They're pretty amazing--puffy, light, glazed donuts that you don't have to fry and filled with lemon, Bavarian cream, strawberry, and more.
The concept is so simple: make dough balls like you would for dinner rolls, let them rise, and bake them for ten minutes or so. When they come out of the oven, use a pastry squeeze tube to fill them and then glaze or frost them.
Pastry fillings. We've made Bavarian cream filled donuts plus lemon, strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple. Each squeeze pack will make a lot of donuts but the leftovers will keep for six months. Fill them like you would cupcakes.
Frosting. Use a simple powdered sugar glaze or a maple or chocolate frosting.
