Amazon and Google are joining forces to launch the official YouTube app on Amazon Fire TV devices and Fire TV Edition smart TVs, as well as the Amazon Prime Video app for streaming to Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices.

The chief technology officer of US telco T-Mobile has taken a swipe at the company's competitors, trashing their 5G products. Verizon and AT&T have both jumped out of the starting gate early launching 5G offerings in the US ahead of T-Mobile.

Competing for the higher-end customer is Huawei's new MateBook 13 series, promising an ultra-slim notebook with 8th-gen Intel processing power, top touchscreen displays, USB-C connectivity and starting with a 256GB SSD.

Samsung isn’t the only company having to recall products. Epson Australia has recalled a wide range of its video projectors due to the possibility that they may fall from their mountings.
