Amazon Prime Video has an exciting event taking place in Los Angeles next week in promotion of their highly-anticipated series Hunters. This pulse-pounding series, which stars Al Pacino and Logan Lerman and executive produced by Jordan Peele, is such a cinematic thrill ride that Prime Video couldn’t resist giving it the big screen treatment with The “Hunters” Grindhouse Experience. Tied to the Amazon Original Hunters’ February 21^st global launch, Prime Video will turn Los Angeles’ Highland Park (between Avenues 56 and 57 on Figueroa Street) into 1970s New York with authentic, era specific details from the series. The “Hunters’” Grindhouse Experience will invite guests to participate in the world of the series with an immersive event that will bring its audience back in time. The event will transform Highland Theatre into “The Empire,” Prime Video’s own grindhouse theater, a converted cinema with nods to New York’s 42^nd Street. Those who partake will find themselves transported back to the 70’s with every interaction. After getting a special sneak preview of the first episode, attendees will be escorted across the street to “Hunters Alley,” known to Angelenos as Highland Park Bowl. Here, guests will participate in a killer afterparty set in 1977 featuring surprising Easter eggs and plot points from the show.
