It was the final act in a day that began with President Donald Trump riling up a mob he had called to Washington — and then pointing it directly towards Congress.
The Republicans in the Capitol were forced to confront the monster they had supported and nurtured for the last five years. And the president has shown no remorse. Accordingly, Brown writes, "two weeks is too long to let Trump remain in power."
