News Briefs Air Transport World Lufthansa Technik significantly increased revenue and profit in 2015, continuing its growth course. Revenue grew by 17.6% to €$5.1 billion ($5.57 billion). The company achieved 20% growth in adjusted EBIT to €454 million. RUAG increased EBIT to CHF137 million ($138 million) in 2015, versus CHF113 million in 2014. Data Tools 2016 Commercial Aviation Fleet & MRO Forecast, Aviation Week Network Over the next five years, engine MRO demand projections in constant dollar terms will exceed the growth rates of the engine fleets themselves. North America’s difference is 0.5% greater whereas the world’s engine MRO grows a full 1% faster in half a decade. At ten years in the future, the rate disparity diverge even more significantly with Asia Pacific, China and Latin America driving increased MRO demand growth.
