Plus: A new series of Trace and an investigation into disease outbreaks
| Time for a new podcast? Trace is back for another season | Lawyer Nicola Gobbo represented some of Australia's most dangerous criminals, all the while secretly working as a police informer. Whose side was she on? Did she break the rules by giving up the secrets of her clients? The only media interview she's done since going into hiding is with investigative journalist Rachael Brown – who you might remember from the first season of Trace, where she told the story of the cold case murder of Melbourne woman Maria James. Nicola Gobbo is the subject of season two – and its first episode was released this week. Another new series that will soon be in your podcast feeds comes from the ABC Science unit. It’s called Patient Zero, and it tells the stories of disease outbreaks: where they begin, why they happen and how we found ourselves in the middle of a really big one. To be the first to hear it, make sure you’re subscribed to RN Presents on ABC listen or your favourite podcast app. Until next time, Rosie Ryan, digital editor Enjoy getting Radio National in your inbox?
