Four Democrats from Jackson County have already made their mark in this historic election. The Democratic delegation from Oregon has voted unanimously for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Nominee for President. Soon, four Jackson County delegates will be on their way to Chicago to join the Oregon delegation at the Democratic National Convention.

Lisa Horwich- Lisa is a local Democrat and is dedicating her participation as a delegate in honor of her late mother, Myra Silverman. In 2008, Myra was a delegate to the Democratic Convention in Denver, and Lisa states she is sure her mother would be proud to see her daughter following in her footsteps. Cole Daneman - Cole is serving as Secretary of the Jackson County Democrats as well as taking an active role on several committees for our local party. Cole is also the campaign manager for Oregon State Representative Emerson Levy. Fun fact: While attending Ashland High School, Cole became an Oregon state champion in Congressional Debate.
Isabella Lee TIbbetts - Isabella is Vice Chair of the Jackson County Democrats. She is a mother of two young children and works as a development associate for Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN). Isabella is enrolled in the Lyndon B. Johnson Women’s Campaign School at the University of Texas at Austin. As an indigenous woman, Isabella is dedicated to making sure indigenous, rural, and young voices are heard at the convention. Kevin Stine - Kevin serves as a Medford City Councilor as well as a Precinct Committee Person with the Jackson County Democrats. Kevin is a Navy Reservist, a member of the Navy Funeral Honors Team, a teacher with the Medford School District, a husband and a dad. Kevin served in the Navy for nine years, which included three submarine deployments. He has worked with Access in Jackson County to help houseless veterans find housing and connect to services.
