The coalition aims to gather resources, share opportunities, collaborate on projects or grants and build relationships in service of supporting young people. It held its first meeting this afternoon. The Cube CEO and cofounder Tammira Lucas reminisced about her journey building a community for mom entrepreneurs. “15 years ago, the local tech scene didn’t exist," Lucas said. “There were a few organizations focused on coding but none to support the tech entrepreneur, especially not for minorities.” For our 15th anniversary, we’re proud to share stories of the growth happening in Baltimore. The Tiger Fund aims to broaden the services offered by StarTUp, whose leader joined the fund's managing director to highlight its unique features compared to other regional funds for Technical.ly.
