Leesville settlement: In 2020, the city council and mayor of Leesville quietly approved a settlement of a lawsuit containing explosive allegations. No media outlet reported the contents of the lawsuit or the cost to taxpayers to settle the case — the public knew nothing. Now, five years later, word of that settlement is surfacing thanks to a city council member who is no longer willing to keep quiet. Tyler Bridges has the story.
