| Alternative Health | 5 Steps RFK will take as President |
Dear John,
Like my friend Sayer Ji, I've been a 20-year activist in the health freedom movement -- more if you include my decades suing corporate polluters to get toxicity out of our water, air, and soil. It was a natural next step to get it out of our bodies as well. My work has especially focused on children: protecting them from unsafe vaccines along with chemicals in the food supply.
You can't separate alternative health from health freedom, because the latter is the freedom to pursue alternatives. As you probably know, I'm running as an independent candidate for President of the United States.
So let me tell you what I will do for alternative health as President.
In short, I will make it no longer alternative.
The mainstream medical system is failing us. What has for years grown in the margins of "alternative" and "holistic" needs to become the new mainstream. As President I will accelerate that migration in several ways:
1. Clean up health regulatory agencies like the FDA, USDA, NIH, and CDC by removing corporate influence and appointing officials from outside Big Pharma.
2. Channel public funding toward holistic, natural, and alternative medical research.
3. Make sure that public health programs like Medicare include holistic alternatives, so that Americans have a real choice.
4. Make organic and regenerative agriculture the centerpiece of my farm policy.
5. Hold the line against any future mandates. Civil liberties and body autonomy will come first.
I have been a tireless fighter against Big Pharma's capture of our health regulators for 20 years. Finally, with your support, as President I will reform the whole system from the inside out.
