| Dear Customer, If you shop with us regularly, you will know just how committed we are to supporting British farmers and producers. They are the lifeblood of our rural economy and play an essential role in feeding the nation. Our entire core range of fresh meat and milk is from British, Red Tractor-approved farms and we buy fresh produce from hundreds of British growers. We are therefore thrilled that Aldi has, for the seventh consecutive year, been named the best-performing supermarket for the treatment of suppliers by the Groceries Code Adjudicator, the regulator for our sector. What does this mean? It shows that we treat suppliers fairly. It is an indication of the value and importance we place on working in partnership with British producers, and it underlines our commitment to being a responsible business. The short period of intense demand that all supermarkets faced at the beginning of lockdown presented challenges for us all, and our amazing suppliers rose to the challenge.
