Dear Customer, With just under a week to go until Christmas Day, you will no doubt be planning your big Christmas shop. At Aldi, our shelves are fully stocked and your local store has everything you need for the big day. From today (Saturday 19th), our range of fresh whole turkeys and turkey crowns will arrive in store. What’s more, all our turkeys are British-reared and offer amazing value. Don’t just take our word for it, a survey by the The Sun found Aldi to be the cheapest Christmas Turkey 2020. In addition, we’re donating £1 for every fresh turkey sold to the Neighbourly Foundation, a charity that supports those experiencing food poverty up and down the country. With the big day looming, it’s time to start thinking about buying your fresh veg for your festive feast. To help ensure everyone can treat themselves to fresh affordable healthy food this Christmas, we’ve reduced six of our most popular veg for Christmas Day. Our fresh and delicious selection of Carrots (1kg), White Potatoes (2kg), Parsnips (500g), Red and White Cabbages (each), Brussels Sprouts (500g), and Swede (each) are available for just 14p each. This incredible value is one of the reasons why Aldi was named as Christmas Retailer of the Year at the Quality Food Awards. It’s also why we picked up various product awards, including The Best Christmas Pudding for our Specially Selected Golden Topped Pudding. There are now more ways to shop with Aldi than ever before. Our click and collect service is now available at over 220 stores and many customers can get Aldi groceries delivered to your door in as little as 20 minutes via Deliveroo. Visit groceries.aldi.co.uk and aldi.co.uk/deliveroo to see if these services are available in your area. To help make your festive shop a little easier, the majority of our stores are open from 7am to 11pm in the run-up to Christmas, so you can shop at a time that suits you. Please check the opening times for your local store via our store locator. Our stores will be closed on Boxing Day to give our hard-working colleagues some time off with their families. All of our current safety measures remain in place at your local Aldi, including a traffic light system at store entrances managing the number of people in-store, Perspex screens at all checkouts, sanitisation stations for your hands, trolleys and baskets, with clear signage reminding everyone to shop safely. After a challenging year, I hope this festive period is as wonderful as any other, and that you get to spend some quality time, be that virtual or otherwise, with your loved ones. On behalf of everyone at Aldi, I would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas. Best wishes, Giles Hurley CEO – Aldi UK and IRE | ||||||||||
