Voornaam, Ever since we announced our plans to hold the 11th Biennial Oregon Summit in person this October in Central Oregon, we promised you that we would actively monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon and across the country, and follow the best available public health guidance. Keeping that promise means that unfortunately, we've had to make the incredibly difficult decision to reschedule the Oregon Summit to March 11th-13th, 2022. The health and safety of our attendees, panelists, speakers, DPO staff and Sunriver staff is incredibly important to us. And when taking into consideration current case rates and trends, and especially the diminished hospital capacity in the region, we ultimately made the decision to postpone. Again, we are incredibly sad to have had to make this decision, but the health and safety of everyone who makes the Oregon Summit such an incredibly special and unique experience is our top priority. We are heartened to see vaccination rates ticking back up across the nation and are hopeful that weâll be able to gather together with you again soon. While we wonât be able to convene in person this October, weâre happy to share that weâll be announcing more details soon about our first-ever virtual Democrats Build Back Together Gala, giving us all the chance to gather together virtually this fall to celebrate our accomplishments and fire us up for the work ahead. We deeply appreciate your understanding, and hope to see you at our virtual Gala, other Democratic events, and at the Oregon Summit next year. Thank you, KC Hanson
