About the artist
Kamwei Fong Despite his contextual isolation and uniform style, each of his cats display unique personalities: some are fluffed and puffed into self-contained balls, others look with curiosity or wariness. He works mainly on the animal world and his creations are often described as poetic, humorous, imaginative, playful and dream-like.
The artist employs a painstaking shading technique to create each tiny furs. Each line varies in size and density; Kamwei takes anywhere between a few days to a few weeks to finish an illustration.
