Ananda Does NOT Support QAnon

Ananda avoids making statements about political issues. We focus rather on spiritual solutions and on radiating light. Raising consciousness is the only real solution to the problems facing mankind.

Recently, however, we have gotten a number of comments from concerned devotees asking if Ananda supports QAnon. This is due to the fact that some Ananda members have been engaged with QAnon and have been posting comments on social media that are supportive of this far-right conspiracy theory. 

Let us state as emphatically and clearly as possible:  NO, we find no merit in the fantastical claims made by QAnon's followers. In keeping with the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, we support truth, harmony, and non-violence. 

Ananda relies on its members to use their own judgment in political issues. The fact that a few people support this conspiracy theory should not be seen in any way as indicating it is widely embraced, or is an official position of Ananda. It is not. QAnon’s basic beliefs are antithetical to the path of Self-realization that Master has given us.

Paramhansa Yogananda has given us the ideal response to these difficult and troubling times in his beautiful poem, God, God, God:
   “When boisterous storms of trial shriek,
   And when worries howl at me,
   I will drown their noises, loudly chanting:
   God! God! God!”
