Nintendo reportedly stockpiling more than a million Switch 2 consoles in the U.S.

 

In a bid to beat President Trump’s tariffs, Nintendo is reportedly focusing on getting huge numbers of Switch 2 units into the U.S. during the 90-day tariff pause. The company is apparently keen to import "millions" of consoles into the U.S. in time for the Switch 2’s launch on June 5. It’s hoped the move will enable Nintendo to stick with the announced $450 price for the console. The company called off U.S. preorders for the handheld last week while it assesses the impact of the tariffs ...
