“WEARING THE TEAM CANADA UNIFORM GIVES ME ENERGY”

With six medals in eight years, Andre De Grasse has become the most decorated male Summer Olympian in Canadian history. Now 29 and a father of three, he enters his third Olympics as a wily veteran and Canada’s best hope for sprinting glory. We spoke to him about how he’s preparing for Paris, how he manages to show up when it matters most, and the new ventures keeping him busy off the track.

DAY OFF

After sitting out the 2021 Olympics due to knee injuries and a mental health sabbatical, tennis star and Mississauga native Bianca Andreescu is approaching Paris 2024 with a more balanced perspective. “The pressure to win is always going to be there, but just having the opportunity to play is a dream come true,” she says.  Here’s how she spends her days off.
