We start today at SW19. Last night Andy Murray produced a gutsy performance in a five set thriller to win the most incredible match with very possibly his bravest performance.

It was a titanic duel with the German Oscar Otte which had the crowd at Wimbledon's Centre Court on their feet at the end. The tenacious Scot proved despite all his injury woes there's still a lot of fight left in this old dog.

Our health correspondent Elsa Maishman looked at the data and found while high case numbers are not nearly so concerning as during previous points of the pandemic, they are not consequence-free.

Nearly 2,000 newly identified Covid cases in Scotland are in people who attended at least one event during Scotland’s Euros campaign, it has been revealed.

The revelation of the link to the Euros was blamed on messaging failure by the First Minister and the Scottish Government, as well as a delay in asking fans booked to watch matches at the specified outdoor zone in Glasgow to take a lateral flow test before attending.
