Anita Begnaud resigns from DDA

Welcome back to another edition of Acadiana Business Today. Let's get cracking with some business news. 

Anita Begnaud has resigned from her position as CEO of the Downtown Development Authority effective Dec. 20.

Begnaud, who took over the position five years ago, is leaving to take a position vice president of marketing and communications at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, Virginia’s economic development authority. That agency is led by Jason El Koubi, a former president and CEO of One Acadiana.
