Startup pitches + bourbon tasting

Here's a rare opportunity: This week, VC-accelerator W Ventures is hosting a startup pitch event and top shelf bourbon tasting at its Mount Washington HQ. It happens Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. According to W Ventures, the event is open to investors, funders and folks involved and interested in building the early-stage entrepreneurial ecosystem in Baltimore.

Startups set to pitch include:

  • Sonavi Labs, the medical device company that makes the digital stethoscope Feelix.
  • Fanalysts, the sports betting analytics company.
  • Celcy, a smart appliance company that combines a freezer and oven.
