BiographyAnne-Marie Zanetti is an Australian artist whose realistic paintings embody intrigue and passion. Her portrait and still life pieces are eye catching, rhythmical and full of intricate details. Starting her art practice later in life - in her early 40s - Anne-Marie's work is inspired by delving into personal experience, namely the stunning range of human emotions. Anne-Marie is on a continual journey to unearth and transform her emotional landscape through her conversation with paint. Anne-Marie feels most inspired when she is truly present and even vulnerable to both her external and internal worlds. She aims to "illuminate the hidden beauty of objects and moments in time that may otherwise seem insignificant or ordinary...to invite viewers to enter a meditative place by feeling a sense of intimacy, wonder and awe for these simple moments". A Brisbane-based artist, Anne-Marie is the recipient of numerous awards and has been chosen for many of Australia's key art prizes including the Doug Moran Prize and most recently winning an award in the prestigious 15th International ARC Salon. During her career, she has exhibited her works at Art Fairs and group exhibitions in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Miami, and San Diego, among others. . Her work is currently represented by Rehs Contemporary Gallery (NY), The Gallery Eumundi (Noosa) and Lethbridge Gallery (Brisbane).
