| Leica breaks world record | 14.4 million euros for Leica 0-Series No. 105 | The auction house "Leitz Photographica Auction" recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, on the 11th June, the most expensive camera in the world was auctioned: The Leica 0-Series No. 105. And it fetched a record of € 14.4 million including buyers premium. At nearly 100 years old, it is one of the first small-format cameras ever produced and due to its prominent former owner it is highly desirable: This was once Oskar Barnack's camera.
