Announcing ChurchBeat with Tad Walch

I  hope you’ve been enjoying our Latter-day Saint Living Weekly (formerly Mormon Times) newsletter. I’m excited to introduce a new format for this email newsletter I think will provide additional insights to topics and events surrounding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Starting May 22, Latter-day Saint Living Weekly will become ChurchBeat with Tad Walch. Tad has traveled the world keeping you informed of news related to the church and its impact on nearly every continent of the globe.

Tad's March 9 piece about the meeting between President Russell M. Nelson and Pope Francis is a great example of the type of contextual reporting to expect in this newsletter. Tad conducted more than 20 interviews to build a nuanced story about the relationship between the two faiths and its evolution from antagonism to partnership over five decades.
