Last week, Cancer Grand Challenges team eDyNAmiC and their international collaborators published three back-to-back papers in Nature, revolutionising our understanding of extrachromosomal DNA. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the Cancer Grand Challenges Conference: extrachromosomal DNA, taking place on June 11-13, 2025.

The first edition in our new series, this conference will convene researchers from around the globe, with diverse backgrounds, to discuss ecDNA: a field that Cancer Grand Challenges put in the spotlight when we set the extrachromosomal DNA challenge in 2020.

There is already a stellar line-up of speakers confirmed, including eDyNAmiC team lead Paul Mischel, Howard Chang, Mariam Jamal-Hanjani, Charlie Swanton and more. We’ll also be selecting from submitted abstracts, for those who wish to present their work.
