2018 Florida League All-Stars

A total of 3,982 fan ballots were submitted over the past five days, setting a new record, and helping to shape the rosters for the 2018 Florida League All-Star Game. In addition to the fan ballot, each head coach, as well as the Florida League staff, completed ballots.

Home Run Derby Shaggers
We invite all youth players ages 8 & Up to shag balls during the 2018 Florida League Home Run Derby on Saturday night!
Any child who shags balls during the derby is welcome to stay and watch the All-Star Game for free afterwards!

Week 5 Recap
W hile the Leesburg Lightning remain comfortably atop the standings, everything below them is a dogfight. A single game in the standings separates the #3 through #6 seeds.

Player of the Week
Tanner May helped the Lightning pick up two more wins this week, hitting safely in all four games played. His week included a 6-RBI game against Winter Garden.

Pitcher of the Week
JP Williams flirted with perfection, retiring the first twelve Sanford River Rats that he faced. He took a win as the consolation prize after an impressive six-inning, two-hit effort.
