U.S. Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith is the author of The Body's Question, Duende, and Life on Mars, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. She has also written a memoir, Ordinary Light, which was a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award in nonfiction. Her latest collection of poems, Wade in the Water, deftly dissects the nature of citizenship in a time when the American past and present continuously collide. |
