Free Event
We invite you to join us at Oak Grove School (OGS) in Ojai for our Annual May Gathering on May 7th and 8th, 2022. A live stream link will be available for those who are unable to visit Ojai. This event is free of charge. Local and international friends come to enjoy the beautiful OGS campus while listening to speakers, participating in dialogues and programs, and meeting with new and familiar faces. Attendees can choose from a variety of programs on themes such as conflict, consciousness, and education, or interact with teachers from our schools and scholars of Krishnamurti's teachings who share their insights.
This year, we have chosen the theme What Are You Looking For?
“Any conclusion I have about myself, that I'm good, that I'm bad, that I'm noble, ignoble, there is great nobility in me, but I act ignobly—all that kind of thing—all that is an image, a conclusion about myself. So I can't learn about myself if I have any previous opinion about myself. The world outside me: technology, the trees, the mountains, the science, all that, I want to look at it as though I'm looking at it for the first time in my life. If I do I see things much more vividly, more intensely. I find new things in that look. And if I want to look at you, if I have an image about you I can't see you, I have no relationship with you, the image prevents me from having contact with you.
