No luck for the Irish: The weather continues to wreak havoc on the parade schedule. The latest casualty? The annual St. Patrick’s parade in the Irish Channel. Welcome back, Jax: Jax beer has returned. The old New Orleans brand is being sold by Port Orleans Brewing Co., which began brewing its version last year, Rich Collins reports. Political hub: The storied Pentagon Barracks, a political hub for lawmakers living in Baton Rouge during legislative sessions, could be in line for a facelift and expansion. Matthew Albright has the details and a little about the building's storied history. Student testing break: Louisiana elementary school students will soon have fewer tests they have to take. Elyse Carmosino reports that it’s part of an effort by the state board of education to reduce the number of tests students face each year.
