Another incident at BR's juvenile jail

with Kelly P. Kissel | Metro editor

Here's a look at some of our top stories.

Police respond to BR's juvenile jail. Again.

Baton Rouge Police were called to the juvenile jail again last night, this time after three youths threatened guards and damaged property. This comes less than five months after five youths broke out, and there was another incident at the jail last summer. James Finn and Elyse Carmosino worked on the story.

LSU's signing day: better than expected, or not as bad as it could have been?

LSU coach Brian Kelly signed a top prospect on yesterday's football signing day. Scott Rabalais looks at how LSU fared. Bottom line, it's not as good as it could have been, or as bad. There is reason for optimism, but also disappointment.

It's February, sure, but does it have to be this cold?

Temperatures tomorrow will be on the order of 20-30 degrees lower than what they are today. Yes, it's February in Louisiana but wow am I ready for spring. Catherine Zeilman has the numbers.

We appreciate your poking your head in for a look. Stay warm (and dry).
