Now Smitty's Wings, the Lafayette restaurant that moved to its spot on North Ambassador Caffery Parkway just three years ago, announced it will close up shop for good this week. "Closing indefintely" is how the announcement described it. It's safe to say the recent closures are due to a variety of reasons, but it wouldn't be incorrect to cite the current labor force conditions as a factor.
