Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary has retracted an earlier claim that President Emeritus Walter Kaiser had died at age 90. In an updated correction notice shared Tuesday, the seminary clarified that the information they received was false, declaring, "Dr. Walt Kaiser is alive and well, for which we rejoice." Full Story.

Port Wentworth, Ga., has reached a settlement with Jeff Gray, a man who was arrested for holding a sign that read "God Bless the Homeless Vets" in front of the city hall. As part of the settlement, the city has apologized and agreed to pay three separate checks of nearly $1,800 to Gray, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression and the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. Scott Martin, the national director of the Assemblies of God-affiliated college campus ministry Chi Alpha, has resigned several months after the ministry was accused of enabling an itinerant minister and convicted sex offender to prey on young males for more than two decades.
