Dear friend, As you may already know from our previous communication, we faced a tragic day yesterday in Eli, where a terror attack took the lives of four of our beloved community members. The resilience of our first responders, coupled with the courage of an armed civilian, helped prevent further loss of life. The aftermath has left four others injured, including one person in serious condition. This morning, however, we woke to another act of terror. This time, terrorists from the village of Silwad in Binyamin opened fire on IDF soldiers stationed near the entrance to the Ofra yishuv. By the grace of Hashem, there were no injuries among our brave IDF forces, who returned fire at the attackers. The terrorists managed to escape, and a manhunt is currently underway to bring them to justice1. The frequency and audacity of these attacks indicate that we are potentially facing an imminent operation in the Shomron1. In light of these alarming events, we at Zaka are once again calling upon your support. We need your help to bolster our resources and our ability to respond quickly and effectively to these incidents. |
| Your contributions will enable us to provide immediate medical and emotional support to those affected. They will also help us improve our preparedness for future incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities. We stand strong in the face of these challenges, and with your help, we can make a tangible difference. We are immensely grateful for your continued support in these trying times. Thank you for standing with us. Yoni Gilboa Director of Zaka Tel-Aviv |
