 Over the edge: Car drives off six-story buildingItâs never fun getting out of a parking structure. And this goes double when youâre parked at the top. You have to deal with everyone below you pulling out, the line can be long and then you have to deal with street-level traffic once you reach the bottom. Wouldnât it be nice if there was a shortcut to get out of those parking lot jams? Well, one Los Angeles man decided enough was enough and made his own. With two passengers in the vehicle, he drove his SUV directly off the roof of a parking structure and attempted to stick the landing. Needless to say, he was not successful. He wound up crashing into a McDonaldâs across the street, but not before his two passengers jumped out of the car as it plummeted off the roof. All the occupants survived, but weâre sure the driver will think twice the next time he feels impatient. If only weâd implement the kind of high-tech garages you can find in Asia here in the states.
