And finally…It can be scary to fly to a new country alone. How about flying to a whole new planet all by yourself? NASA's Ingenuity, a mini helicopter, survived its first night alone on the surface of Mars last week. After Perseverance dropped it off, Ingenuity weathered the frigid foreign weather all on its lonesome. NASA says this is an important milestone that makes engineers feel confident for its first flight. Let’s hope this little flyer will be ingenious enough to survive the Martian skies! 🪐 |
