In early April, Andrew Mills and Melissa Sims, two advanced-care paramedics from Victoria, B.C., launched a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000. They flew to Poland, bought an ambulance and drove it into Ukraine, where they delivered it to a humanitarian organization.
