Skyâs the limit: Burglar takes flight
How high can you jump? The current world record is around 8 feet, but most people canât even jump half that high. Well, police in Maryland may have accidentally captured someone who smashes that record completely. During a police chase, the 56-year-old burglary suspect found himself staring at a 12-foot wall that blocked his escape. Rather than go quietly, the man proceeded to jump over the wall in what police referred to as a âstartling display of acrobatics.â Even stranger, once the man found police on the other side, he jumped right back over the wall just as easily! Naturally, no amount of jumping could help him once he was in cuffs â but heâll have plenty of chances to show off his skills during prison basketball games.
