A hairy situation: The case of the Bad Wig BanditIf youâre out committing crimes, a good disguise is one of the best ways to hide your identity from law enforcement. Thatâs why robbers tend to wear masks or balaclavas â which conceal the face from people and cameras. But one bank robber in North Carolina took this practice to the next level. In fact, his crimes were severe enough to land him on the FBIâs naughty list. Dubbed âThe Bad Wig Bandit,â this robber disguises himself with colorful, low-quality wigs that drape down over his face. Many of the wigs are so bad, he almost stands out in a crowd. Laugh all you want, but the wigs must be working since the Bad Wig Bandit is still at large. Not even the FBI can do anything about that. Heâs lucky heâs not in the UK, or heâd be facing down an entirely different kind of bad wig. Tap or click to learn how wigs are made for the British court system. â |
