| The Big Payback
Greetings everyone; Murfreesboro Rescue Mission, a partner in the community’s Coldest Nights program, has wrapped up its winter shelter operation. This year’s total reached record setting highs tripling last and previous year’s attendance. A record high attendance of 2370 was set this season.
Without a much-needed boost, MRM will struggle as we prepare to aide the homeless in our summer “Beat the Heat” program. Great news! MRM is once again participating in our community wide “The Big Payback” program. This program will provide MRM with the perfect opportunity to recover from a taxing winter and get prepared to bring aid to the homeless this summer. More good news! MRM will partner with Middle Tennessee Insurance Agency in The Big Payback giving challenge. For every dollar donated, Mid Tenn. will match up to 1500.00. We have a golden opportunity to reach a total of 3000.00 and beyond with help from you and our partner agency.
The Big Payback is a community-wide, 24-hour online giving challenge hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This charitable event will help Murfreesboro Rescue Mission raise much-needed unrestricted dollars and bring awareness to pressing needs of the homeless in our community. Thanks in advance,
