| | Volunteer Spotlight: Veronica Ryan from the Junior League |
April 2024 is National Volunteer Month, but every day at Art in Action is "Volunteer Appreciation Day"! We are grateful for the hundreds of volunteer hours spent in the classrooms teaching art to students, in the warehouse packing art supplies, and at our fundraising events happily greeting donors. Today, we highlight one of our guiding lights, Veronica Ryan, a dedicated volunteer from the Junior League of Palo Alto Mid-Peninsula. From working at kit-making sessions to facilitating art lessons, Veronica's passion for art education shines brightly. Her commitment exemplifies the impact volunteers have on our organization. Thank you, Veronica and to all our Art in Action volunteers!

| | | Art in Action Out and About | Our Sales Account Executive, Marlena, embarked on a remarkable journey visiting three schools across the Bay Area of California to witness their Art Shows. From James Dougherty Elementary School to Costaño School of the Arts and Crossroads Christian School, Marlena had the privilege of experiencing the incredible Art in Action projects crafted by talented students. Marlena was deeply inspired by the passion and dedication displayed by the students in their artwork. Their creativity knows no bounds and serves as a testament to the transformative power of art education. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the students of these schools for their outstanding achievements. Your artistic endeavors enrich our community and inspire us all! |
