| Lawyer Meltdown Newsletter |
Wow - things certainly have changed in the past several months! We're all adjusting to a new reality that may last for quite some time. Most of us are working from home, and whether we did so before or not, are having to make some changes to how we are doing business. Many of us have been forced to adopt new technologies on the fly. It hasn't been easy, and if you're anything like me, you probably have good days and bad days. Thankfully, today is one of the good days - the trees are blooming and the sun is shining. But if you are struggling, this issue of the Lawyer Meltdown Newsletter has a few resources that hopefully can be of assistance. As always, I'm looking for your feedback. I'd love to get your comments on the videos, my columns, or ideas you have for future articles or newsletters. Let me know what you're thinking! Email me at Allison@LegalEaseConsulting.com. |

| | Rocket Aid - Virtual - and Charitable - Conference | | The fine folks at Rocket Matter have put together a virtual conference that will not only provide fantastic information for lawyers adjusting to the new practice reality, but is also supporting charities that help those affected by the coronavirus pandemic. For $25, Rocket Aid is providing 13 hours of educational webinars on how to run a law firm in today's environment (12.5 of CLE in Florida). The proceeds are going to United Way's COVID-19 Fund, Feeding America, and Pro Bono Net. I'll be speaking with Dennis Kennedy on LinkedIn in a 30-minute session on Friday afternoon, but there are a ton of other fantastic speakers and networking events planned. Here's the link: http://bit.ly/RocketAid. Would love for you to join me! Read More |

NOW AVAILABLE: Make LinkedIn Work for You | | My friend and colleague, Dennis Kennedy and I are proud to announce that our book, Make LinkedIn Work for You, A Practical Handbook for Lawyers and Other Legal Professionals is now available. The book is an adaptation of all of our previous work on LinkedIn, from webinars and presentations to articles and books. This book is different from what we've done before in that we're publishing direct to Kindle first, and the book contains no screenshots. We plan to follow the book with an online course to help lawyers and other legal professionals really dig into LinkedIn and maximize their use of the platform. If you want to know what other people are saying about the book, check out Dennis' post here that provides a roundup of reviews on the book so far. |
